  • How do I make sure my property is prepared on the day of service?

Preparing for your power washing service is easy! There are only a few things that you need to do.

    • Verify that we will have access to water through your outdoor water spigots
    • Make sure all of your windows are closed
    • Remove all potted and/or hanging plants
    • Remove any small, fragile items from your home’s exterior (such as decorative sculptures)
  • Will you disturb my business/customers during cleaning?

We understand that an amazing customer experience for you means keeping your workflow and workday as intact as possible. Our power washing service will be completed diligently to accommodate you and your business’ needs. We strive to make this process as convenient for you as possible and would be happy to tailor an approach to meet your needs.

  • Is there a difference between pressure washing and power washing?

The simple answer is no, there is no difference between a power washing and pressure washing service. These two terms can be used interchangeably. They both refer to the same method of using pressurized water to clean a variety of surfaces. Regardless of whether you refer to it as pressure or power, this cleaning technique will leave you with incredible results.

  • Does it have to be sunny to pressure wash a home?

No! Your power washing service can happen any day, rain or shine. Getting wet is an inevitable aspect of this type of cleaning. The only time that we would have to reschedule your service would be in the event of dangerous, inclement weather such as lightning.

  • How frequently should I use a pressure washing service?

Routine care for any property – residential or commercial – is essential for the well-being of its structure, curb appeal, and value. Annual power washing is one highly effective and recommended method used by many property owners to extend the longevity of their homes or buildings. That being said, we generally recommended that you schedule power washing service at least once every two years.

One of the factors that can help to extend the amount of time between pressure washings is the chemicals that are used during the process. Without some of those chemicals, a problem with mold and mildew is going to resurface very quickly, but some chemicals help to mitigate these issues. If you have never washed your home’s siding, roofing, or foundation, it may be time to address these areas before they begin to show signs of mold, mildew, fungus, pests, deterioration, and more.

  • What is soft washing?

As the name suggests, “soft washing” is completed at a much lower pressure – or pounds per square inch (PSI) – than power washing. It combines the use of specific detergents with low pressure in order to eliminate risks and contain the application of water to specific areas.

Soft washing can reduce the necessity for power washing, as the detergents used will clean off dirt, mold, mildew, and other contaminants while also preventing their regrowth. This is a more effective service for buildings that have wood or stucco exteriors since higher PSIs can damage those surfaces.

  • I am looking to maintain my property’s exterior surfaces. What should I do?

Each property is different as a result of weather, traffic, environmental conditions, and usage. Whether you have a residential or commercial property, our team will conduct a needs assessment and make recommendations based on your property’s unique attributes. Your FREE power washing service estimate will include a written proposal for both immediate service and a future maintenance schedule.

  • Power washing sounds easy. Why should I hire a professional instead of doing it myself?

While power washing can be viewed as a do-it-yourself project, there is a clear distinction between a DIY crew and professional services like ours. Hiring a professional power washing service means that you are saving yourself time and money while benefiting from an expert's experience and skill.

Although pressure washing equipment can be rented at some locations, there is a method to the process that takes practice and experience to master. Our team knows which wands and nozzles to use, what PSI is appropriate for specific areas of a building, and how many chemicals need to be added. Using pressure washing equipment on your own can cause damage to your property, especially if you set the PSI too high.

Instead of dealing with the stress and frustration of figuring things out for yourself, which could take days, hiring a professional service means that your cleaning project will be completed in a mere few hours. All you’ll have to do is enjoy the dazzling results.

  • What applications does power washing have?

Power washing service can be applied to a number of areas of your residential or commercial property. Most often, pressure washing can be used in the following areas:

    • Building exteriors/siding
    • Roofs
    • Gutters
    • Decks
    • Patios and sidewalks

The goal of power washing is to enhance the appearance of these surfaces, which can increase property value. These cleanings can increase the longevity of your property and mitigate the growth and spread of fungus, bacteria, and pests.
